Tie Guan Yin is a renowned light oolong tea that originates from Anxi County in Fujian Province of China. The unique moderate notes of chestnuts lends to the brisk, and velvety finish of this oolong. Iron Goddess of Mercy is comprised of tender leaves that are gently basket tossed immediately after harvesting to rupture the cells for semi-oxidation. Definitely holds up for many steeps.
Preparation Instructions
Filtered or Spring Water: 195°F
Leaves: 2 tsp. per 8 oz. cup
Infusion Time: 2-3 min.
Add 30 sec. for each subsequent steep.
